Cancellation policy

SHORT TERM RENTALS (1-27 days):

  1. For a full refund of the room rate, the guest must cancel at least 24 hours after booking AND at least 14 full days prior to the property’s local check-in time.
  2. To get a 50% refund of the nightly rate, the guest must cancel 7 full days prior to the property’s local check-in time (as stated in the confirmation email), otherwise no refund will be given. If only 50% of the booking has been paid, no refund will be issued and the remaining 50% will simply not be charged.
  3. If the guest cancels less than 7 days before check-in, or leaves the stay early after check-in, no amount will be refunded to the guest.

LONG TERM RENTALS (28 days and more)

  1. For a full refund of the room rate, the guest must cancel at least 24 hours after booking AND at least 28 full days prior to the property’s local check-in time.
  2. If the guest cancels the booking before check-in, then the full amount of the first 28 days will be paid to the host and not refunded to the guest.
  3. If the guest cancels the booking during their stay, the guest must either pay the host the amount for the first 28 days after receipt of the cancellation or the balance of the original booking if less than 28 days remain.

In the event of force majeure, or entry or exit restrictions, the guest does not receive any money back but in any case receives a voucher valid for 2 years for a later stay.
